Sometimes The Simple Just Isn’t As Simple As It Appears

Sometimes, victory seems to be in your grasp. Unfortunately, that victory isn’t final until the game ends. Tony Romo had seemingly helped rescue the Dallas Cowboys 2007 NFL season and had them on the brink of their first playoff victory in a decade. With four seconds left on the clock, Scott Norwood stood alone waiting for the snap. The snap came and Norwood, getting plenty of leg under it, crushed the pigskin. It soared through the crisp air on its way to becoming the most famous field goal attempt in history.

The entire game was a nail biter for the Buffalo Bills. The Bill Parcell’s led New York Giants team utilized a very successful game plan of ball control. With a relentless ground attack the Giants were able to keep the potent Bills offense on the sidelines virtually the entire game. Ottis Anderson contributed 102 yards to the Giants total of 300 plus rush yards, which … Read more »
