For years people have been amazed by the 3 point shot and it seems like this is a lost art in the NBA today. As more people are focused on dunks and amazing athleticism, it seems like people have forgotten how much hard work it really takes to become one of the best 3 point shooters of all time. As the NBA continues to be a highlight reel, there are still some players that stand out for their amazing 3 point skill. It takes years of hard work and practice to be able to perfect the 3 point shot and here are some of the best to ever display long distance shooting as a skill in the NBA.

Reggie Miller is arguably one of the best 3 point shooters of all time and simply because he was as clutch as they come in the NBA. Though he may not have the prettiest form in the world, Reggie was the ultimate Pacer and always gave Michael Jordan a run for his money in the NBA playoffs. Reggie will always go down as one of the best 3 point shooters ever.

Ray Allen was definitely the opposite of Reggie as he most likely has the prettiest jump shot of all time. Ray … Read more »

There is nothing as lovely as an excellent goal shoot in basketball. Basketball players have different spectacular ways of shooting the goals and 10 professional players have stood out. The most amazing crowd-moving shoot is the slam dunk. This is when a player shoots a goal while near the basket and airborne with the ball in hand. To make this goal more fantastic, the player swings and drops to celebrate the goal.

Michael Jordan is one of the best field goal shooters in NBA history. He led the association with 10 scoring titles.

Steve Nash is definitely one of the best shooters of all time in the NBA. He holds the record for the 50-40-90 seasons. 50-40-90 is a shooting threshold that only 5 NBA players have reached. Steve Nash has had 50% and above for field goals, he has scored 40 % of three-point field goals and 90% of free throws in just one NBA season.

Larry Bird is one of the members of the 50-40-90 club. He enabled the Celtics win three titles during one season in 1980. Bird was a clever basketball player as he always saved his best shot for the last. This helped him to dominate the all-star weekend leagues. Bird won 3-point contests thrice.

Mark Price was also a member of the 50-40-90 club. He was very good at aiming and this was the guy to watch … Read more »

Kobe Bryant. That is a name that reminds you of the legendary Michael Jordan. This basketball superstar has in fact been referred to as the modern Michael Jordan. True to these words, his basketball career, right from childhood has been a success story.

Kobe Bryant‘s love for the game started when he was a small kid. Showtown Vs. Motown – Isiah Takes Over In Game 6

Dozens of players with world class skills have turned in legendary performances in the NBA Finals, but few if any can compare to the night that Isiah Thomas had in Game 6 of the 1988 NBA Finals in Inglewood, California.

Deep into what would turn out to be an epic seven game series, both the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Lakers had gotten to know each other well. No love was lost between the two teams, which represented polar opposites on the diverse landscape of professional basketball in the 1980s. The Lakers were the perfect team to represent a city devoted to glamour and glitz, led by the flashy yet incredibly effective Magic Johnson and a fleet of large, talented bodies.

The Pistons were the quintessential blue-collar team, complete with a roster that brought a lunch pail and a hard hat to work, much like the majority of the citizens of Detroit. Led by Thomas, the team felt in their cold hearts that they could beat any team on any given night. If an abundance of scoring didn’t do the trick, flying fists and elbows were waiting to strike on a moments notice. Indeed, the Pistons were willing to win at any cost.

Never was this concept more evident than in the grit and determination of Thomas. The Pistons went into Game Six with a 3-2 lead in the series, but they knew getting the elusive final victory would be a difficult thing to do on the Lakers home court. The Lakers led by eight points in a highly competitive … Read more »
